The Youth Mock Parliament II (YMP II) project aims to increase young men’s and women’s leadership and participation in non-sectarian politics. The 3-year framework of the project leads toward the 2026 Parliamentary elections and an increased youth agency in promoting an inclusive citizenship-based state.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project will adopt the existing “YMP 1 non-sectarian political leadership training program” and adapt it to today’s context. The training will include 1) political culture, 2) Inter-religious dialogue and diversity management, and 3) public communication for candidates in simulated parliamentary elections. 4) Current Issues in Lebanese Politics
