Adyan Foundation, represented by its president, Rev. Prof. Fadi Daou, has participated in the UNICEF Life Skills and Citizenship Education (LSCE) Initiative program launching in Amman, Jordan on October 10th, 2017.
Daou spoke in the panel of citizenship education: Life skills for participation and social engagement about Adyan’s experience in educational reform. Daou considered that this initiative came at the right time following the Beirut Declaration on educational reform to prevent extremism in the Arab societies (2016), the current educational reforms in a number of Arab countries and its focus on rebuilding citizenship education, in addition to other international initiatives such as UNESCO’s program of Global Citizenship Education and preventing violent extremism.
