Adyan Foundation, represented by its President, Father Fadi Daou, has participated in the Regional Forum for “Education on Global Citizenship: Promoting Arab Regional Action and Partnerships” where Father Daou presented Adyan’s experience in Education on Citizenship, especially in the framework of Inclusive Citizenship.
This forum, which was held in Luxor, Egypt, on 13-14 October 2017 is organized by UNESCO Office in Beirut in partnership with the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding, Korea, and the King Abdullah International Center for Dialogue, Vienna, and in coordination with the UNESCO Office in Cairo.
The aim of the meeting is to follow up on the work and recommendations of the 2015 Cairo Conference on Citizenship Education, to review and discuss the progress of Arab countries in the field of global citizenship, and to share successful experiences and available educational materials.
