The Institute of Citizenship and Diversity Management at Adyan Foundation has organized a training workshop for 13 media professionals on “Countering extremism and Hate Speech”. The journalists who have experience and interest in issues of Diversity Management came from Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon to attend this training, which was held in Amman, Jordan, on 13, 14, and 15 October 2017, with the support of the Church of Sweden.
The workshop included theoretical information and practical applications on how the media should deal with hate speech, definitions of extremism, and the basics of investigative journalism.
