Samir Kassir Foundation, in collaboration with Adyan Foundation and the CFI media, held a conference entitled “Naseej: Media and Diversity in the Orient Countries” at Riviera Hotel on 18 and 19 October 2017.
The Director of the Institute of Citizenship and Diversity Management at Adyan presented the results of the media monitoring study covering diversity in Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq, which was prepared in cooperation with journalists from these countries. The conference was attended by a large number of journalists from Arab countries and the world, where they discussed media problems and shared their experiences in covering diversity.
In the end, “Naseej” Award for covering the issues of diversity was awarded to the journalist Safaa Khalaf from Iraq and the journalist Souad Abou Ghazi from Egypt.
