Spiritual Solidarity Day

About

On the last Saturday of October, each year and since 2007, Adyan organizes a national interfaith encounter, following the paradigm of the historic Assisi Interfaith Gathering of 1986.

The main objective of this program is to develop a shared understanding of common values among the different religious communities and to enhance spiritual solidarity between their leaders and members.

The encounter consists of a ceremonial gathering of social, educational, and religious leaders, as well as groups and individuals from different communities, all joining hands to celebrate a common value and to confirm their adoption of it through prayers, cultural activities and a common statement.
