The Institute for Citizenship and Diversity Management at Adyan Foundation, which is the academic arm of the Foundation, works to crystallize the concept of inclusive citizenship, as a common vision for building a promising future, through a positive and rational interaction with cultural and religious diversity in the public sphere. The Institute also believes that citizenship is an ability, in addition to being a right, a loyalty and an obligation. Active citizenship stems from the individual, his/her belief in the role he/she can play, and the activation of this role. Therefore, the Institute is working to spread “active and inclusive citizenship” by training male and female trainers on this concept, and the different competencies associated with it, so they can, in turn, spread it to their surroundings.
