Adyan Foundation, represented by its Media Manager, Dalia Al-Mokdad has participated in the “Expert workshop on MENA Collection of Counter-narratives for Countering violent extremism (CVE)” organized by Hedayah, the International Center of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism, from July 31st until August 2nd in Morocco.
Al-Mokdad has presented the objectives of Taadudiya platform as a case study of existing counter-narratives and focused on #Shu_Ostak (What is your story) campaign that has reached more than 5 million users on Social Media Platforms. She has also participated in identifying and analyzing effective messages against violent extremism across the region to help guide and shape new ideas and strategies.
The results of this workshop will be published as a How-To Guide/Practical Tool based on good practices and existing counter-narratives collected and collated from the region.
