ABOUT THE PROJECT

The CSIC GFFO project aims to empower youth, female and male, and key influential figures (KIFs) from the various ethno-religious communities of Alqosh, Shekhan, and Bashiqa on inclusiveness and diversity management. Together, youth and KIFs will work together to draft a Priority Agenda for their communities and implement Community Service Projects (CSPs) which benefit the wider community.

Additionally, the project aims to increase awareness among residents of these communities about peacebuilding and inclusive citizenship, in order to achieve sustainable peace and durable solutions.

IMPACT AND OUTCOMES

Impact: Contribute to inclusion and social cohesion in the post-conflict communities of Bashiqa, Shekhan and Alqosh

OUTCOME 1: Increased social cohesion among young adults aged 18-30 in Bashiqa, Shekhan and Alqosh.

OUTCOME 2: Increased institutional and community resilience of the areas where targeted young women and men reside.
