Adyan Foundation represented by its chairperson, father Fadi Daou, has taken part of the “Interreligious dialogue and religious tolerance” conference, which was organized within the framework of the Diskussionsforum: Deutsches Orient-Institut, on May 22nd at Federal Foreign Office in Berlin.
Over 100 representatives of many different faith communities from 53 countries were invited by the German Foreign Minister, Sigmar Gabriel to Berlin to explore how their communities can foster conflict prevention, mediation and reconciliation endeavors.
With extremism on the rise, the conference participants tackled the issue of dialogue between the different religions and religious groups in the near and middle east and discussed the way to intensify the cooperation and dialogue between the different actors and the role of each one.
