Adyan Foundation has represented Lebanon in participating in the “Follow-up Conference on the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 in the Field of Culture”, under the patronage of the Secretariat of the League of Arab States, in Cairo on 1 and 2 November 2017.
In an effort to promote the culture of peace, non-violence, and citizenship, and the contribution of culture to sustainable development, Adyan’s President, Fadi Daou has presented the Foundation’s approach to citizenship as a framework for managing diversity and development. In addition to that, one of the conference’s final recommendations considered the culture of active and inclusive citizenship as a basis for sustainable development.
