The Forum for Religious Social Responsibility (FRSR) recently achieved a noteworthy milestone by electing its inaugural coordination committee. Composed of seven members, the committee will play a pivotal role in facilitating the forum’s operations and ensuring effective coordination among its members.
The establishment of the coordination committee follows the approval and implementation of the internal forum by-laws. This step provided a formal framework for the forum’s activities and paved the way for the election of representatives.
During the election process, the FRSR members chose seven individuals to serve on the coordination committee. Of these members, five represent religious leaders from different regions in Lebanon. Their selection ensures that the forum encompasses diverse perspectives and adequately represents the various religious communities across the country. This inclusion is vital in addressing the unique needs and concerns of different localities.
The remaining two committee members are religious activists who have demonstrated a strong commitment to social and religious causes. Their inclusion highlights the forum’s dedication to promoting social responsibility within the religious sphere and engaging individuals who actively contribute to this mission.
The primary objective of the coordination committee is to oversee and coordinate the forum’s activities. This entails fostering effective communication among forum members, organizing events and initiatives, and monitoring the progress of ongoing projects.
