The Institute of Citizenship and Diversity Management at Adyan Foundation held the first meeting of experts of the “Religious Social Responsibility for Citizenship and Coexistence” project, from 18 to 20 January 2018 at the Commodore Hotel in Beirut. The 9 experts in the field of Islamic thought, were introduced to the project which is being implemented within the research unit of the Institute with the support of Danmission. The project aims to promote religious social education by providing a religious approach based on human values, which will contribute to the promotion of social cohesion, and resilience to extremism and sectarianism, especially in Muslim-majority societies.
