The Training Unit at the Institute of Citizenship and Diversity Management at Adyan Foundation held a seminar for senior trainers from the Arab world on inclusive citizenship and freedom of religion and belief from May 12-15, 2017, with the support of the church of Sweden and Development and Peace – Canada.
11 senior trainers from Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Tunisia, and Morocco gathered at the seminar and developed toolkits on inclusive citizenship and freedom of religion and belief.
The Training Unit at the Institute will then organize a series of TOTs (Training of Trainers) in Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, and Morocco in 2017 and 2018 to train trainers on these manuals in order to spread awareness of these issues and their importance in Arab countries.
