Alwan, the non-formal education program of Adyan Foundation has held an evaluation day for the past year, on Wednesday July 5th, at Arnaoon village.
One year of hardwork witnessed many achievements and challenges. For the first time this year, the program became for 2 years length instead of 1 year. This change in length helped more in empowering the students’ sense of belonging to the club, and gave them the opportunity to be connected with the civil society through the implementation of the community services projects, as well as enhanced their skills in critical thinking, nonviolent communication and valuing diversity through the sessions.
In addition, interclub excursions gave them the chance to meet the different other, to discover their country and to get over their stereotypes and prejudgments.
