Adyan’s President, F. Fadi Daou has taken part of launching the Washington Declaration, which was issued by the Alliance of Virtue at its conference in Washington, DC from February 5 to 7, 2018.
Building upon the Marrakesh Declaration of January 2016, over 400 religious leaders from all over the world affirmed a new declaration calling for the global protection of religious minorities and marginalized communities.
The “Washington Declaration” was published after a three days conference that gathered hundreds of interfaith leaders, due to the initiative of the Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies and its leader, Shaykh Abdallah Bin Bayyah.
