Adyan Foundation represented by its chairperson, Father Fadi Daou has participated to the international seminar entitled “Reciprocity, theological, legal and other dimensions” organized by “The Toulouse Center for the History of Law and Political Ideas” between the 4th and 6th of July, 2017 at the faculty of law at Toulouse University.
Father Daou, participated to the panel of “Reciprocity, Limits and Recognition” along with the Honorary President of the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences, Mr. Bernard Bourgeois and the former first minister of Poland, Mrs. Hanna Suchocka.
During his presentation, Father Daou tackled the concept of Reciprocity in the perspective of international and interreligious relations that “should be considered as a HORIZON and not as a CONDITION, since the basis of the commitment in the public sphere is the Common Good and not the proportionality in relations between citizens or believers”, as Fr. Daou said.
