Adyan Foundation has participated in NASEEJ project for religious, cultural, and ethnic diversity in the Iraqi media in cooperation with Samir Kassir Foundation – SKeyes Center for Media and Cultural Freedom and CFImedia, by co-preparing a monitoring study for the media coverage of religious and cultural diversity in Iraq, as well as Lebanon and Syria.
The two-day meeting on 31 July – 1 August 2017 included a discussion with representatives of media organizations from Iraq and a presentation of the study results. It has also included a discussion about media and pluralism in the Middle East with Adyan Chairperson, Rev. Prof. Fadi Daou and the Vice-President of the Democratic Renewal Movement, Mr. Antoine Haddad, with the participation of several editors-in-chief and executive directors of Iraqi media institutions.
