From the Golden Land of Cambodia, The director of the Institute of Citizenship and Diversity Management at Adyan, Dr. Nayla Tabbara has participated to the Consultation on Interreligious Dialogue and Liberation on August 28th.
She has talked about recasting the agenda of interreligious dialogue towards Religious Social Responsibility. In her talk, she has mentioned that “Religious social responsibility” as used by Adyan Foundation means the call to religious persons and faith-based organizations to remember that they are supposed to work for society and large not only for their own communities. They should also be defending the human dignity and to be in solidarity with all the people suffering from non-respect, whatever their belonging is, and not be bystanders in front of unjust political, legal and economic systems.
